TRANSYLVANIAN NATURAL GREY SALT
We need to know that the salt reserve from Praid is the one of Europe’s largest salt reserves, the salt mass itself is 1,2 km x 1,4km in diameter, slightly
elliptical and is rooted 2700 m deep. Today this crystal salt (rock salt) is buried deep in the Transylvanian basin and is gathered from 320m deep.
The hundreds of years future mined salt potential makes the Praid mine Transylvania’s most significant and almost bottomless treasure chest.
The Transylvanian salt from Praid is to our knowledge one of the most beneficial salts in the world. The Carpathian Basin people used this treasure of
the earth for thousands of years. No one should think for a minute that it was for no reason. Composition: NaCl - 98.7%, CaSO4 - 0.1%, MgCl 2 - 0.028%,
CaCl2 - 0.13%, Fe203 - 0.00056%, H2O - 0,10%, Cu, Zn, NH4, NO2, NO3. It is free from potassium, iodine, fluoride, bromide, chemicals and anti caking agents.
Approximately 24 millions years ago the shallow inland sea
was blocked from the Central European Tethys ocean, and
after strong evaporation the layers of salt were deposited in
the meanwhile sinking basin. These salt-deposits had been
put under the earth during the formation of the Transylvanian
basin and the Carpathian Mountains. So this salt is dated
back to those times, where the Earth was still in its ancient
and natural balance and is not obtained from today’s
contaminated seas.
